exastris: having perhaps the better claim (Default)
This is where you can leave any criticisms you have about my character if you wish to do so! Am I doing her good enough? Is she bothering you somehow? Do you have a question about what she's doing? Anything that falls under the mentioned situations and then some?

Please feel free to drop it over here and I'll try to answer it or adjust my playing to the best of my abilities. Don't hesitate to do so. Note: Due to a situation, I've changed the settings for an indefinite amount of time. Sorry about this!

DAY COURTS } A place of brightness and daring.

The Day Courts are the ones who govern the day and seasons spring and summer. They can found in the realms they reside in which are a separate location from the country they are in, a pocket of lands that is hidden from humanity but is said to be seen in the distance at the afternoon if one looks at the sky long enough until brightness almost overcomes their sight and they then look at a certain direction. The beings from here are more inclined to use blessings and strength in terms of combat instead of the magic and wits the Night Courts favor. They are more open and honest with their actions and deeds to the people, wanting to genuinely help out others.

People from these Courts can be seen as brash and meddling with their persistence but also brave and willing to stand up for their words and actions.
It's not a surprise they're looked up to, around the world, by soldiers or leaders or others from the societies where defense and offense is heavily emphasized on.

The official language among those from the Day Courts is Dies. To best describe it to a normal person or someone not from the Day Courts, it sounds more like human language. Just hard to keep up since it's so fast and light and flowy. But this is an easy language to understand since interaction with this type of Courts is more frequent as they are more trusting of people. This happens under, at first, the disguise of humans before they reveal themselves.

HIERARCHY } The royal family

The Sun-King and Sun-Queen{ They work together in harmony. Despite the stories of how, the sun was given to the men in the early days of the world, most Sun-Kings are willing to work with their Queens to lead their Courts. Not all Sun-Kings are like this, of course, as some believe it is the men's duty to rule the realms and them only.

The Ray-Prince { Sons of the Sun-King and -Queen, always from the union between the rulers. The considered and acknowledged candidates for the Sun-King's throne, there is much scrutiny and watching of them if they are worthy or not for the position. The first-born son is most of the time chosen for the position but it doesn't mean the other boys are out of the contest yet. Time and other the other sons were chosen in spite of their birth order since they proved to be more worthy then the others.

The Ray-Princess { Daughters of the Sun-King and -Queen and are, honestly, considered of lesser importance to their brothers. That doesn't mean they're not treated well in the Courts or disliked, it means there is simply less pressure for them on what path they'll take. Usually married off or given a position in the Day Courts to keep themselves busy though there have been instances in which a Ray-Princess decided to forsake everything she had to become part of the humans' societies. Frowned upon despite the society's openness of other things.

The number of Princess and Princes for the Night and Day Courts, 24 and 6 in the usual total respectively, varies wildly for the following reasons: The children represent something about the day or night and the numbers show that. For the Night Courts children, it is at times the zodiac (like China's Animal Zodiac). For the Day Courts children, it is instead the times of day (like England's Morning, Afternoon and Evening).

MAJOR DIFFERENCES } They're not all the same.

You will not pass { Most Day Courts are open and friendly, willing to extend a hand to those who wish to approach them. Most and there are exceptions to this. China's Heavenly Day Courts are an example as beings from there who balk and refuse at the idea of interacting with people they do not know intimately or well.

Knowledge is true power { Not all Day Courts favor strength and blessings. They're inclined but not all do so. There are also adept magic users found in the Day Courts and are just as skilled with the Night Courts inhabitants. Some Day Court beings would even like to say they surpass the Night Courts but know better than to do that.
